Wrapping

The SILKWORM product range includes two lines: LS, a column-shaped model with GANTRY robot for low/medium-speed lines and TURBO, equipped with a FANUC robot for high-speed lines, with an output ranging from 50 to 160 euro-pallet/hour and from 55 to 190 half-pallet/hour.

The ability to utilize a strip of wrapping from 800-900mm allows to reduce the number of turns of winding to be applied on the pallet and, consequently, to increase the potential of the system and decrease the consumption of the applied film.

High level of pallet stability after wrapping

1 The double rope applied to the most resistant products (sparkling beverages) offers a higher stability and reduces the quantity of film needed 2 The upper rope allows to stabilize the upper pallet layer so that it is often possible to stack up more pallets in the warehouse 3 The lower rope anchors the product to the pallet, granting a higher stability

The use of 60 kg. reels allows to better amortize the cost of the reel core, which is included in the reel price.
In this way you have one only for the quadruple of the film, for an immediate 5% saving.
